Belt Tensioner
Our serpentine belt tensioner pairs a flat-spring assembly with a sealed hydraulic damper inside a cast-aluminium housing. The flat spring holds constant tension across the full operating arc, so there is no spike when a fresh belt goes on and no slack as it stretches, while the damper soaks up the high-frequency pulses the accessory drive throws at it under load. It keeps the OEM bracket footprint, bolt pattern and pulley diameter, so it drops onto the original mount with no modifications.
- Heavy-duty cast aluminium spring case and arm. Resists the housing-separation failure mode that ends cheap units in 20-30K miles.
- Flat-spring design. Maintains constant tension across the operating range without spiking when a new belt is installed.
- Sealed hydraulic damper. Absorbs accessory-drive pulses so the belt does not chatter at idle or skip under hard load.
- Sealed pulley bearing. No grease point, no service interval.
- Steel pivot tube and zinc-coated mounting bolts. Survives engine-bay heat-cycling and road salt.
- Auxiliary belt pulley and mounting hardware in the box.
