Rack & Pinion
Our rack and pinion assembly replaces the worn unit that puts the slop in your steering. An induction-hardened rack bar meshes with the pinion gear, turning wheel input into the linear motion that points the front wheels, while a matched rotary valve meters the hydraulic assist left and right. We build to OE geometry with new inner tie-rod sockets, a fresh rack support bushing, new bellows boots and seals throughout, then flow-test the valve and cycle every unit lock-to-lock for internal leakage. Centered on the test stand, serial-stamped for traceability, finished in a protective coating. Drops into the subframe the factory unit came out of, on OE mounts and tie-rod tapers.
