Gaskets
Our cylinder head gasket is a true MLS (multi-layer steel) assembly: five layers of 300-series stainless steel sandwiched together, with embossed beads pressed around the cylinder bores and every coolant and oil passage. The outer two layers are Viton-coated, a fluoroelastomer rubber that conforms to the surface finish of the head and block at install, then stays put through the heat cycling that opens up composite gaskets. The centre shim layer is plain stainless, varied in thickness to set deck height. No sealant, no retorquing, no liquid copper.
